Africa on foot
Africa on Foot is a personal and adventurous safari lodge in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger area.
The focus here is on a genuine safari experience with extra closeness to nature, where you combine walking safaris in the morning with jeep safaris in the afternoon, accompanied by experienced guides.
The lodge has very few rooms, which gives it an intimate and familiar feel with personal service and a peaceful atmosphere. For those who want an extra memorable experience, there is the option of sleeping under the stars in a treehouse (at an additional cost). There are also two family chalets that are well suited for those traveling with children.
Evenings are often spent around the campfire, and many dinners are served as a classic South African braai (barbecue), creating a warm and social atmosphere. There are two pools on site – one inside the camp, which is perfect for families, and one in the treehouse area, just outside the camp.
Klaserie also shares an open, unfenced border with Kruger, which means that animals move freely between the reserves. Here you have a good chance of seeing everything from elephants and lions to leopards and buffalo – in a safari experience that feels both authentic and intimate.
