Africa on foot
Africa on Foot is a personal and adventurous safari lodge in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger area.
The focus here is on an authentic safari experience that brings you closer to nature, where you combine morning walking safaris with afternoon jeep safaris led by experienced guides.
The lodge has relatively few rooms, creating an intimate, family-like atmosphere with personalized service. For those seeking an extra memorable experience, there’s the option to sleep under the stars in a treehouse (for an additional fee). There are also two family chalets that are well-suited for those traveling with children.
Evenings are often spent around the campfire, and many dinners are served as a classic South African braai (barbecue), creating a warm and social atmosphere. The property features two pools: one inside the camp, perfect for families, and one near the treehouse area, just outside the camp.
Klaserie is open to Kruger, meaning the animals move freely between the reserves. Here, you have a good chance of seeing everything from elephants and lions to leopards and buffalo, and the safari experience feels both authentic and up close.
