Experience a unique walking tour in the Tanzanian wilderness. The area is completely untouched and the only people you will encounter are the Maasai.Discovering the savannah on foot is very exciting. This is suitable for those who are real adventurers and have a relatively good physical condition. Each day you will walk about 15-20 km and you will stay in different places each night. However, the pace is comfortable and you walk at about 2 - 2.5 km/h.
It is likely to be hot and dusty, but there is much to see on the way and you will make many short stops. You will start the day and have breakfast just before sunrise. With lunch packed, you'll head off into the wilderness; dinner will be prepared by your cook when you arrive at your camp for the night. By then, your tents will also already be pitched. We will bring a chemical toilet and shower for you to use.
You will have with you an armed ranger, a person who will arrange the camp for the night, a walking guide and a cook. You will only need to carry a small backpack. We have a professional team where your safety is our top priority. You will be driven to the starting point and will stay the first and last night at Amin iMasai Lodge which is a nice lodge where you can recharge for the tour as well as rest upper after your tour. This is not a trip for those looking for luxury, but if you are looking for adventure and an experience that few others have had, this is the perfect tour for you.
"It was an adventurous trip where we really got to experience Tanzania's wilderness. We didn't encounter any tourists at all. Long way to go, but it was worth it every time. Would recommend anyone who is a bit adventurous to give it a go. Memory for life"
