Preservation of natural habitats

Tanzania is home to some of the world's most iconic natural habitats, including the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Kilimanjaro. The fact that tourists travel here and experience these amazing places promotes the country's awareness of the importance of protecting and preserving these unique environments. Tourism generates revenue that is used, among other things, to employ rangers and to combat deforestation and illegal hunting. 

Promotion of ecotourism

Ecotourism is a form of travel that focuses on preserving and respecting nature and culture. By offering sustainable safari experiences and guided tours, negative environmental impacts are reduced while benefiting local communities. These ecotourism initiatives provide incentives for local people to protect their natural resources and engage in conservation projects.
Most of the hotels, camps and lodges we work with have a clear eco-profile and support local environmental and community projects. Several of them have solar panels for electricity supply and water heating.
When you go on safari, our goal is that the only footprint we leave is the wheel tracks of our safari jeep.

Education and awareness

Tourism serves as a powerful platform to raise awareness of the importance of protecting Tanzania's ecosystems. Through guided tours and visits to national parks, visitors have the opportunity to learn about the country's unique biodiversity and what they can do to contribute to its conservation. This creates a stronger understanding and respect for nature, which in turn can increase engagement in conservation efforts.

Support for local communities

Tourism not only generates income for the tourism industry in Tanzania, but also provides direct support to local communities. In this way, tourism creates economic opportunities for people.
Our aim is to promote local and small-scale tourism, based on the local conditions in Tanzania, where the economic benefits accrue to local people. We support and encourage fair employment conditions and are committed to respecting local customs. The majority of guides are continuously trained in sustainability issues and are very careful to always respect the wildlife in the national parks.
